About
Who publishes this site, and how it is sourced
wamodels.com is a static news and reference site on world action models: robot policies built on pretrained video or world-model backbones, then fine-tuned to output actions. It is published by Shan. The public repository is github.com/shansabnani/wamodels. This page states only facts recorded in that repository. It does not list degrees, employers, or other credentials, because none are recorded there.
What the site is for
Robot foundation models currently split into two recipes. Vision-language-action models start from a model that understands images and text. World action models start from a model that has watched video and learned how scenes change. This site follows the second recipe, and its contest with the first. The working goal recorded in the repository is to become a leading public record of that field.
Three surfaces carry that record. News posts sit in content/posts/. A definitional pillar lives at what is a world action model?. The register currently holds 17 models, with machine-readable dumps at JSON and CSV.
Editorial method
Copy is written from primary sources: papers, lab pages and model cards. Blogs and press can point to a story; they are not a source for numbers. Author estimates are labelled as estimates. The seed map for the register's three-axis classification is Reuss, NVIDIA Technical Blog (15 June 2026), cross-checked against each model's own paper. Editorial rules for the site are stated on this page.
Headlines stay mixed-case and literal. Posts summarise; they do not reproduce source text. If a figure cannot be verified from a primary source, it is left out. Register fields that cannot be confirmed are stored as null and render as a dash. They are never guessed.
Sourcing policy
Every factual claim on a model card, news post or explainer links to the paper, project page or official repository it came from. The register row for a model always includes that source URL. Where a number is an author's own rough estimate — for example Reuss's compute figures — the page says so.
News intake listed in the repository includes Hugging Face Daily Papers, arXiv cs.RO and cs.CV listings, the NVIDIA Technical Blog (robotics), the Physical Intelligence blog, and RoboArena. New register rows are added only with a source link.
Independence
The repository records a funding rule for any later turn toward benchmarking or a register of comparability: the issuer must never pay, meaning no money from anyone whose results appear in the register. That rule is a recorded constraint, not a claim that such a pivot has happened.
How to cite or correct
Posts and the register expose APA, BibTeX and HTML citations. Corrections belong in the GitHub repository, because that is the durable public record this site is built from.
